I'm looking for a very low cost money market fund. By low cost I mean very low management fees. After all I could ladder my money in T-Bills, etc. myself with very little effort. I've jumped between funds over the years taking advantage of low introductory rates but I'm tired of switching. Any fee more that a very small fraction of a percent seems like robbery to me. Suggestions ? -Ed

re: .0 The most recent iossue of Smart Money has a listing of top yielding MM funds. I do not have my copy with me. But, I am sure you can find a copy in your local public library. Low cost is only part of the equation. The other part is high yield. Now, there are many funds will temporarily suspend their expenses to boost their yield. But, the the list I mentioned, they have *some* funds made to the list *without* have to do so. Mike

re .0 I'm in several Fidelity Spartan funds that have been waiving their fees since they were started 1-2-3- years ago. Look in the money mkt section of Barron's or WSJ,etc . Which is highest yield ? What is the safety ? I know that Spartan US treasury M-Mkt yields about 5.5% state-tax free. It's all in Treasuries - couldn't be any safer.
