    Does anybody follow Cyrix closely?  I'm very tempted to buy puts
    on it.  It hit 47 (52 week high) last week, up from 19ish.  Their
    486 upgrade parts are no better of a deal than Intel's.  They do have
    a 386-486 product too, but it's overpriced and seems prone to
    problems with 386 BIOSs.  Their coprocessor market can't be that
    successful.
    
    Any opinions on Cyrix, and what they have coming out in the next
    6-12 months?

	Shoulda bet the farm; CYRX down another 2 7/8 to 39... Oct 40 puts from 1 to 3.

	CYRX up 4 1/2 (+13%) all in the last hour or so of trading on huge volume (2.12m). Something smells fishy (like a takeover by CPQ)...

	Cyrix has also filed a patent infringment lawsuit against Intel.
