    Rumors of an IPO rise every 6 months or so, but nothing has happened
    yet.

    You might be able to invest in one of the 3rd party NeXT component or 
    application providers, who should benefit from NeXT's success.
    
    See comp.sys.next.announce for new product annoucements, etc. from NeXT
    and from their ISV's. 

    
    Any investors in NeXT Computer out there?
    
    How does one go about purchasing stock in NeXT?
    
    I think they are public, but the only reference I see
    to them in the paper is in the supplemental NASDAQ section.

    Can anyone tell me what the NeXT.A and .B listings are
    in the supplemental NASD listings?  It's even capitalized
    like NeXT in the paper, so I'm sure it's them.

I suspect that .A and .B are just different series of common stock.

    When I called NeXT, they said their stock did not trade publicly?
    
    I still don't have a clue as to what NeXT.A and NeXT.B are
    and if they really represent ownership in NeXT Computer.

    FYI, the NexT wt A and B that I saw in the WSJ are
    for Nexus Telecommunications, not NexT.  
    
    I don't believe there is any way to invest
    in NeXT.  The only possibility might be to
    invest in companies closely aligned with
    NeXT.  I'll try and get a list and post
    it here.
