I've gotten "cold-called" a couple of times in the last month from Douglas
Washburn at Josephal Ryan and Ross in NY.  Has anyone heard anything about
this firm or had dealings with this individual?

	I got a similar call too in Jan . The guy was pushing the stock Spectrum Instruments which was at $6+ & you had to buy a minimum of 2000 stocks. soon after the issue took a nose dive to 1+. I lucked out because I knew more about the stock than the broker & did not buy. I wonder what great stock they are pushing now ? Sini.
