    	Do you have any information on the company "Golden Star Resource
    Ltd." AMEX:GSR
    
    	I read that this company might be interesting to watch. "It has been
    getting a lot of attention in Canada and Europe but remains little
    known in the U.S. This is a growth gold stock, unlikely to turn a
    profit for at least another year but then expected to show great
    potential."

	A, I've heard about Golden Star myself about 2 weeks ago..maybe from the same source?? It was 13 when I first looked it up and then shot up to 16 +/-. All I can say is that I'm a gold bug and think gold is a no-brainer over the next few years. But you have to remember 2 things; Gold will have many wide swings over the next few years so know that , accept that, and toughen up regarding that. The second thing is that everyone has jumped in and will continue to jump in to the papa golds, Homestake, Amer. Barrick, etc. But I think the real oppt lies in finding the baby golds..like AMAX, TVX, Atlas, and maybe Golden Star. I was told to buy Atlas (A) on the NYSE last July when it was 3 1/2. I did, it went no where for 6 months..and then in the last 2 weeks, it shot up to 8 !!!; and I think that's only the beginning. So if you have a little time, faith, and patience..go for it. Mark
