<<cross posted on TRADING conf.>> Here is a question on MACD (Moving Average Convergence Divergence) technical/chart model : Imagine MME(t) is the exp. average of the last t datas. Build a first chart with MME(12) - MME (26) chart This chart is the MACD . (12 and 26 are simple examples.) Then build a second chart which is the exp. average of the MACD. Because I strongly disagree with my new technical software provider on the way they calculate the exp average , I'like to know when somebody may help me. How is usually calculated the exponential average ? Thanks for help and hope my english has been enough fluent. PAscal.
