Sorry, I don't know why NOTE 462 was hidden and not allowing replies. I couldn't
change it, so I deleted it and created a new one.


In reading a note entitled "Is INTEL a good by at $96 ?" prompted me to ask if
AMD is a good buy at ~$21 ?

I missed the boat on AMD once. I bought it at $9 a little over a year ago. I then
sold it at $21, just before it dropped back to $9... Nice little profit. BUT, I
did not buy it when it was at $9 or on the way up...

What do you think... Is AMD still a good buy ?

	I guess this all depends on whether you think AMD will fair well against Intel, Motorola or Cyrix and a few others. AMD is at $29, very close to their high for the last 52 weeks with a P/E of 13 (currently same as Intel). I'm personnaly not interested in AMD. I'm currently in the Intel camp. It's getting pretty wild in semiconductor land. Pat
