415.0. "American Association Individual Investers" by WFOV12::CERVONE () Tue Mar 16 1993 09:11
I received a mailing on AAII - American Association Individual
Investers. They say they are a non profit organization helping
individual investers.
Although if you join it has a $49.00 annual dues fee, or annual
membership with Computerized Investing for $79.00, or Life Membership
inc. Comp Invensting or the quarterly mutual fund update for $490.00.
This is the second mailing I have received, It seems you get some pretty
good benifits, like the AAII Journal, The annual Inv. Guide to NO_LOAD
Mutual Fund Investing, Local Chapter Membership, Investment Seminars at
reduced cost, Study Programs at reduced cost, Computer Users Newsletter,
DRIP plans, Stock Brokerage survey, and more.
Has anyone heard of this association out of Chicago Ill?
Would it be worth to join?
Does it sound lejit?
What are your thoughts.........
Thank you
Frank
