    Given all the talk about health care this year I was trying to anticipate
    some health care related themes and possible stock plays. HMOs come to
    mind, but there has already been a huge run up in HMO stocks (7x since
    1989) so I have trying to come up with other ideas.
    
    How does the Utilization Review field sound ? This is a $7.6B industry.
    I'm looking for some names of publicly traded companies.
    
    The only one I've found so far is Preffered Health Care (ASE - PY).
    They do mental health review, cost containment svcs, psychiatric case
    mgmt. Wilton Conn. 203-762-0993
    
    Utilization review encompasses hospital preauthorization, second
    opinion review, prospective procedure review, concurrent review, and
    case management.
    
    HMOs and private insurers contract with these companies to help
    lower costs.
    
    Anyone know of any Utilization Review companies ?
