    Recently, I heard that Mentor Graphics is a buy.  Reason being, they
    are coming out with version 8 of their IC design software.  Is there
    anyone listening that can tell me whether version 8 is going to be
    earth shattering and thereby confirming this buy signal.  Also, who is
    Office Depot?  They don't have great name recognition in New Jersey.

    Well , here are a few news : 
    
    version 8 is not coming out , but is proposed since about 10 months.
    
    What is new is 8.2 , OSI MOTIF compatible , and so 
    multiple constructors announced. They propose their software on
    SUN,HP and a few tools on PC.
    
    Have been told they propose a new-rewritten database structure, which
    name has been called framework database or something like this.
