| THis is really strange, as I have owned Euro Disney stock for the last
two years. There is currently one NASDAQ market maker and it is
reported only on the Paris exchange.
I haven't heard of any American shares other than possibly more
available ADRs traded on one of the exchanges.
Are you possibly thinking of the 4/1 split of Walt Disney (ownd 49% of
Eurodisneyland) for stockholders of record sometime in April ? It is
now trading in the 150's (When last I checked ) whcich would bring it
down to about $40 after the split.

119.3 | Ok, now that that is clear }8-)} | STAR::PARKE | True Engineers Combat Obfuscation | Mon Mar 23 1992 11:12 | 19 |
| Two ways can be used to play this.
1) Buy Disney now (or in this time frame) and rid it up (probably).
Supposed history is that it goes up after each park opened, at
least for a while. Also, it is going to split, for record holders
sometime in April (not sure of the date) 4 for 1.
2) Buy EuroDisney (the spread is pretty steep though) before the park
opens and there are any earnings. I have already doubled my money
(before taxes) in the last 2 years holding the shares. Probably
the park will do well, given the accessibility to the rest of Europe,
even in the current echonomies "just cause it's new".
These are plays I have made, but it's up to you to determine if either or both
would be appropriate for you.

| Thanks Bill
And now for a dumb question or two, now mind you I havent looked yet.
Is EuroDisney on the NYSE, or NASDAQ, market?
And are there any benies to owning the EuroDisney stock as are with the
Disney stock. IE: Discounts etc.
Frank

119.5 | Well, you get to go to France | STAR::PARKE | True Engineers Combat Obfuscation | Mon Mar 23 1992 14:30 | 11 |
| Bennies: I suppose you could try to charge off a visit to Paris to
"check your investment" }8-)} Otherwise I don't know of any
discounts, etc, associated with owning stock. The park is
not opening until April 10th.
There is (according to my broker) one market maker in the states for Eurodisney.
It is not listed in the WSJ or Barrons anywhere EXCEPT the Foreign (Paris
exchange) listing. It is not in the weekly non NASDAQ stocks. I assume that
it will have active ADRs sometime in the not too far distant future given the
probable interest after the park opens.

| The 4-for-1 split of the Disney is listed on NYSE as DIS, currently
around ~150 or so. The Euro Disney is pnly on Paris.
Does anypne know if Disney pays dividend and how much ?

119.7 | Discounts/Disney stock | WFOV12::CERVONE | | Tue Mar 24 1992 17:14 | 5 |
| I've heard from some owners of Disney stock that being a share holder
entitles you to discounts on vacation packages to Disney World or
Disney Land of about 40% off the top.

| There is a short article in the May issue of Money magazine which lists the
benefits which go along with owning Disney stock.
Also mentioned in the article is some additional steps which must be taken
in the event that you have the stock listed in the brokers name. This amount to
having to send in a copy of you December statement and membership cards are
usually sent out during February of each year.
