| Usually at the beginning of a bowling season the league is given
several copies of the ABC rules book for officers to hand out to each
team (usually the captain). You should be able to get a copy (even
just to look at) at the Service Desk where you bowl.
In answer to your particular question, I believe the rule is that you
give the bowler 1/10 of their average for each remaining frame (I
think). Check the book to be sure!

If you're in a ABC sanctioned league, ask your captain for a copy
of the rules. I agree with note 113.1 on the question asked.

| Keep in mind that there must be a valid reason for
the bowler to leave - ie injury, sickness, emergency,
etc. If someone, for example, just decides to "quit",
I believe the rules state that he or she get ZERO for th
remainder of the game.....

| yeah, typically though, the bowler should get *permission* from the
opposing team on whether to allow him/her to bowl out.
