announced shipment of the leading DataDirect middleware technology for
Digital Equipment Corporation's high-performance Alpha workstations and
AlphaServer Enterprise Systems. The high-quality DataDirect ODBC Drivers
enable DIGITAL Alpha platform developers to rapidly develop and deploy
ODBC-compliant applications, providing fast, standards-based data
connectivity to business information across the enterprise.
Under terms of a comprehensive agreement announced in July 1996, INTERSOLV
developed and now delivers DataDirect Windows NT ODBC Drivers for Alpha
workstations and AlphaServers, providing powerful data connectivity to
Informix, Oracle, Sybase, Ingres and Microsoft SQL Server data sources. As

for Alpha NT, customers can access Oracle, Informix, Sybase and SQL Server
from any ODBC-enabled DIGITAL Alpha NT client application. Examples of ODBC
