DIGITAL Data Mart Seminar Series
"Customer Care: Acquisition, Retention & Qualification"

WHAT IS IT?

During April and May, Digital and our partners (Microsoft, Business Objects,
and Informatica) will be sponsoring a U.S. wide seminar series. The objective
is to showcase Digital solutions, such as the DIGITAL Data Mart, which can
help your customers with their customers, as well as provide you a forum for
generating and closing business.

The seminars will focus on the need for solutions to help our customers "care"
for their customers. We will be using Patricia Seybold's Company to provide
the speakers to deliver this message from an industry neutral
perspective.

HOW WILL I BENEFIT?
1. Provide a vehicle for generating Q4 demand.
2. Help qualify existing leads
3. Increase market awareness of the DIGITAL Data Mart solution
4. Identify, propose and close

You can look at this event as an opportunity to:
1. Gain access to business function managers
2. Position yourself as a valuable business partner
3. Stand out from the numerous technology seminars
4. Establish a relationship with your Microsoft counterparts

WHO SHOULD COME?

The target audience is business function managers with their IT
counterparts. The agenda is designed to be less than half a day, with
an early morning start.

WHAT WILL MY CUSTOMERS LEARN?

The seminar is titled, "Customer Care: Retention, Acquisition and
Qualification". Its theme is "How to use information regarding your current and
potential customers to maximize revenues and minimize expenses".

We will start with a one hour presentation for the entire audience covering
customer care at a high level. Some of the points that will be covered are:

Studies that estimate a 5% decrease in customer defections can boost
profits by 25% - 85% (depending on the products and services being consumed)
It costs an average of 5 times as much to gain a new customer as to keep an
existing one ,etc.

At the end of this first presentation we will take a break and ask the audience
to divide into two groups, business and IT.

The business group will reassemble with the keynote speaker, to continue the
discussion at a business level. This will be run as an interactive session
with a moderator to control and direct the discussions.

While we will include discussions about how technology can be used to address
this customer care, we will focus on the business issues they are dealing with
and have them come away with the feeling that this was a valuable learning
experience, not a sales pitch.

Meanwhile, in a different room, the IT audience will get an overview of what
we collectively bring to the table to assist them in supporting their business
partners. This will include both presentation and demonstration of the DIGITAL
Data Mart solution.

At the end of the formal agenda customers will have the option to participate
in one on one sessions with a Digital NSIS consultant to discuss their specific
situation. Customers will be asked to sign up for these sessions when they
register to facilitate the scheduling.
