Any news on a version of PSW that supports monitoring of HSZ, RZ, SWXCR devices? thanks Deb

Hello Deb, As far as the Digital UNIX Agent is concerned, I'm trying right now to integrate into the FT 2.3 some code that will handle CAM SCSI device errors on I'll make a new kit next week for you to give it a try it if you wish... As regards the OpenVMS Agent, analysis and implementation are a bit more complicated and my previous reply applies, i.e. it is very likely to be delayed until the version after V2.3 (OpenVMS V7.0 compatibility version). I'm sorry I can't provide a timeframe, as I am neither a program manager nor a marketing person, and not (yet ;) a CA resource... Maybe ask the POLYCENTER program mgr. within Digital, Jim Burton, VAXmail ZEKE::BURTON, DTN 381-6470, or his counterpart within CA, Chris Daugherty, email [email protected] Regards, -- Olivier. | |||||

Yes, please let me know when the Digital UNIX agent kit is ready for test. I'd be more than willing to test this. We have several HSZ/RZ based environments in place today, with more coming. I'd like to continue to use the PSW tool suite for monitoring. Deb |
