| There may be something in the Movies notesfile.This is a subject that I
have heard a lot of rumours about.I believe from a friend of mine that
there is a screenplay/script being considered at the moment.

| It seems highly likely that 4 will be made,according to Sigorny
(sp)Weaver on BBC Radio today,they will bring back Ripley,using lasers
or something (her words),and she is bought back to do things against
her will...

| I've heard two distinct rumors about the 4:
1) The Company had some Sigourney's ADN, and it makes a Sigourney clone. And
all restart... (oh no !)
2) Another version is the Company has found out the first alien planet (of
the first movie, where the alien ship is crashed), and they bring back on
earth some aliens to study them. But they lost their control (of course) and
the Earth is going to be destroyed... Unless...
But Sigourney said she will no more play in possible Alien, so...
By the way, there is a lot a possibility to make the IV: the first planet
(mentionned above) had the crash ship with a lot of alien cocoon (and the
planet has been destroyed in Alien II), but the ship itself is from a ET
race, and nobody knows this race...
I'd like the scneario give more precisions about this superior ET race. It
can be very interesting... (maybe this ET race will save the Earth in the 2nd
rumor ?)

If they clone from her DNA, who is going to play the r�le? A lookalike
actress wouldn't really be good enough since the clone should be very
similar if not identical in appearance I would think. Still that's
never stopped Hollywood in the past.
Personally I have had my fill of the Alien concept so wouldn't see #4
if they made it. If we keep going to see them, they'll keep making them
and we get less fresh ideas, so I'm voting with my feet (or is it my
bum?).

It seems Sigourney plays again...
Another possibility for the IV:
Ripley dreamed !! And Alien 3 is never happened... What a pity...
