*shucks*, and the originally-a-joke-bid 95-in-95 (supposedly a con to
be held on the median strip of I-95 from Maine to Florida) actually got
some serious votes for the NASFiC bid too!
NASFiC is the con held in North America when Worldcon goes someplace
else - for those who can't travel or don't wish to.

If I remember correctly 95-in-95 almost WON.
Also The NASFiC will be in July in 95. I believe it will be run by
the folks that put on Dragoncon each year.

I was up there counting the votes for this one. Boy were there some
relieved '95 in '95 people when they came in second.
They ran an excellent write-in bid and were actually trying to pull a
Washington DC locale together.
