Does anyone know of a series that ran in the early eighties (i think) with someone called Jarred Martin. My memories are failing me. All i remember is the guy's real name & that in the series he had this sort of glass tuning fork which healed wounds or stunned his enemies ?? Someone please put me out of my misery. cheers, Davie.

YES! I could use help with this too, something I've wondered about for YEARS! Wasn't it called Fantasic Journey or something? As I recall it was a (family?) lost in time or something. At the end of each show they walked through a time portal or something and ended up in another time. Best as I recall it was sort of like Quantum Leap except I can't remember the rhyme or reason of it. In fact, best as I can recall it was like a combination of Lost in Space (which I loved, that does not compute! that does not compute!) and Quantum Leap. Wasn't Jarred a doctor? I was twelve or thirteen and had a crush on him. Refresh my memory, too. Helen

It was Fantastic Journey. It was about a group of friends and fanily lost in the bermuda triangle who meet up with a man from the future who was exploring/researching the bermuda triangle. The group would travel across the triangle island running into time boundries and people from from other times all trying to get out of the bermuda triangle. The series starred the brother from "Escape to Witch Mountain" and the black cop from "Hill Street Blues". Jeff Peters

I saw it as a made for TV movie a couple months ago; evidently they cobbled several episodes together. The movie's been on before. Check your local listings... |
