For those of you waiting for Eddings to start a new series (or fill
in some old blanks), you may want to pick up his new book,
THE LOSERS. This is a standalone novel, not part of either of his
other series, and set very much in today's world. The title refers
to that class of people locked into the social welfare system with
little hope of escape. Only out in hardcover so far, but it was an
interesting read.

| alright! I've never been a fan of seemingly endless fantasy series,
but Eddings earlier "High Hunt" is one of my favorite books. (Not
SF, just good fiction.)
