I have recently read "Marching Through Georgia" and S.L.Stirling. This is an
alternate time-line novel which centers on a south African nation, the
Domination of Draca founded by English refugees from the American Revoluiton.
If you think the current south African are rough, glom onto and grok the
slave based civiliation of the Dominition which ends up taking over half the
world and is currently eyeing the United States (which in this time line) has
take over all of central America.
Let me know what you think of the Domination. (I think we should nuke'em from
orbit).
