1016.1 | The Synthetic Man | VMSMKT::KENAH | The man with a child in his eyes... | Sun Sep 01 1991 22:04 | 10 |
| As I mentioned in the other file, Theodore Sturgeon wrote a book called
"The Synthetic Man" (Original title: "The Dreaming Jewels") 1950 by
Theodore Sturgeon -- ISBN 0-515-03344-8
The blurb on the cover says: "He's too human to be real -- and he
doesn't even know it!"
I think this is what you're looking for.

1016.2 | There Was a Novel The Artificial Man | BALZAC::DONOVAN | | Thu Sep 05 1991 11:09 | 12 |

And as I mentioned in the other notes file, there is another book
called The Artificial Man that is not by Theodore Sturgeon. Not
to confuse the issue, but was there a book by Theodore Sturgeon
about a group of kids who commit a murder and a character named
Lone and a woman who was brought up in a Victorian style
environment in modern times? Maybe that was The Synthetic Man.
;-).
Cheers,
Kevin

| I believe L.P. Davies wrote a novel called "The Artifical Man", but it
was about a very different theme.
