982.0. "Trading Cards and Comic Books" by CAVLRY::ROBR (Every breath a static charge) Thu May 16 1991 22:21
Well, since I could not find a more appropriate conference for this or
any reference here...
I have TONS of trading cards. Thousands. I have Star Wars, Empire
Strikes Back, Moonraker, Star Trek the Motion Picture, Battlestar
Galactica, Space 1999. Most of the above are complete. I also have
the complete comicbook series for Battlestar Galactica and most of the
early Star Wars stuff. Question is, is any of this junk worth
anything? It's useless to me, but if it's worth something, I'd just as
soon dump it and take the cash. Thanks!

982.2 | Toy Shop | KRISIS::reeves | Jon Reeves, ULTRIX compiler group | Fri May 17 1991 13:22 | 7 |
| There's a nationally distributed classified ad publication called "Toy
Shop"; I've seen copies at the newsstands in Tower Records, and in the
Mall of New Hampshire. There seems to be a whole subculture of people
dealing in this sort of thing (and even more obscure items -- would you
believe magazines for collectors of cereal boxes?). Grab an issue (or
I'd be happy to dig the one I bought out of the trash) and rummage
through it for ideas on prices; there may be people with "wanted" ads, too.
