    The novelization of "Forbidden Planet" has been reprinted in paperback
    by Farrar Strauss and Giroux.  It is written as a series of
    reminiscences by the key characters.  I believe this served as the
    screenplay for the movie.  As such, it is exceptionally "faithful"
    while providing much more ambience.

	author - W. J. Stuart; ISBN 0-374-42445-4 (I assume that's the ISBN, though it's not identified as such on the book). My local Book Corner (a chain) has multiple copies, so I'd bet other chains have it as well. len.
