"You MUST have a weapon on you at all times at this con,
however your mouth counts, use it with care."

(And, you, or your parent/guardian if you're under 18, must sign a
      waiver/behavior aggreement at the door.)

MEMBERSHIPS: $10 thru Sep 30, $20 thereafter. NO one-days, NO "cheaper on
Sat/Sun", a membership is a *membership*, not "ticket" nor a "pass". You can
transfer them (written note from person whose name it's in) up to the start
of the con but no refund. See re Business Meeting and Site Vote, below.

LIVE ROLE PLAYING GAME: $17 plus being a con member through Sep 30, $22
thereafter (IF any slots are left), $2 discount for SIL members. MASKS's
scenario has the superheros of North America holding a convention to decide
if they will begin charging(!) for their services. Meanwhile the bad
guys/gals and various "normal" humans are up to who knows what. Heh, heh,
heh....

MONEY FOR THE GAME AND/OR THE CON (and Game Questions) go to, & must be *made
out to*: Tad Pierson, POBox 17586, Arlington, VA 22216. (The bank never
heard of "WeaponsCon.") His answering machine lives at 703-276-7093.

BBS, 300/1200/2400-N-8-1-F 703-912-9878 (if your modem doesn't understand
this - try one of the human ans. machines.) You must hit RETURN 8-12 times
in quick succession when signing on for the board to let you in!]

LADY JANE WILL ONCE AGAIN BE HOLDING OPEN COURT on Embassy Row in the Party
That Never Ends. Settling of disputes, Presentation of guests, and
Arrangements made. Saturday evening 8pm - 2am. All are welcome.

CON SUITE: Con-tinuous Fri PM thru Sun PM.
COSTUME & MOST INTERESTING WEAPONS CONTESTS: Sat PM, prizes.
PROGRAM: We'll have one this year (speakers & panels & such).

DEALERS & ARTISTS: will sell from their rooms (again, EVERYone must tell the
Hotel they're with WeaponsCon). Both the sellers and buyers must be members
of the con. Dealers/Artists: ask the Hotel about function rooms in/near the
con block.

BUSINESS MEETING: 10am Sun if members have any business, like by-laws for
con. SITE SELECTION: 11-noon Sun. Bring some semblance of a Hotel Agreementa
and a committee. Present your bid. Some group MUST win this for next year
or it dies. (Don't count on someone like Tad talking me into it again.) You
must, of course, be a member to vote or bid.

* Please, if enough people don't reserve rooms *at least* two weeks in
advance, we will again be mixed in with more numerous tourist groups and
wedding guests.
