Has any one read The Genesis Machine by James P. Hogan. It is an older book that I picked up on a spur of the monument at a used book store. After I read the book I read about the author and was very suprised that the author is(was) a D.E.C. employee as a Senior Sales Training Consulant. He also wrote Inherit The Stars.

I would say the general consensus in this Conference is that the Noters do know that Hogan was a former DEC employee. You may read other discussions on Hogan in SF Topics 31, 64, 76, 166, 275, and 757. This Topic may be used to discuss THE GENESIS MACHINE. Larry | |||||

Yep, amazing what Digital is responsible for... just kidding. I've read the book in question along with most of his books. I've enjoyed them all, though sometimes he gets carried away with the maths or physics but that's ok. I enjoyed the twist at the end of the Genesis Machine, though I can never remember the logic the hero used when I try to tell someone about the story. I suppose I'd better read the book again !!
