762.1A bit more info, please...ATSE::BLOCKWith a mind of magic & a magical mindFri Apr 07 1989 14:2011
	Dave,

Is this going to be another limited dealers/art show/films Con, or
is it opening back up a bit? I agree that the last big Boskone
was out of hand, but the art show and all-night films were a big
	attraction.

	Thanks,
	Beverly

There will be limits, I'm sorry to say, but it is opening up a bit.
There will be films, but not all night; all convention activities
terminate about 2 a.m. both nights.

Do you have specific questions? (If you'd like, you can write me or
the committee off-line.)

Yes, the con as it has been done in Springfield has for myself
and two other of my friends who have been comming to the con for
the last 11 years has been a grave dissapointment. We will not be
attending the con this year in protest but will instead go another
around the same time. I wish that N.E.S.F.A. would consider going
back to Boston and dropping some of the restrictions. What would
really be nice is if NESFA would send a survay out to the people
who have been attending the con for five or more years and see what
they all have to say about the last con's in Springfield .
