| I've read the older ones quite some time ago, but haven't read
the last couple. Here is a list of the books in the series
(which by the way, is the Sector General series, not Surgeon;
I've corrected the note title):
HOSPITAL STATION 1962 collection
STAR SURGEON 1963 collection
MAJOR OPERATION 1971 novel
AMBULANCE SHIP 1979 novel
SECTOR GENERAL 1983 collection
STAR HEALER 1984 novel
There's one more novel, just issued a year or so ago, but the
title escapes me.

695.2 | "Code Blue Emergency" | ATSE::WAJENBERG | Make each day a bit surreal. | Fri Sep 16 1988 10:32 | 5 |
| The latest novel is "Code Blue Emergency." The viewpoint character
is an alien doctor new to Sector General, who spends the novel trying
to find her niche in the system. It's pretty good.

| Re .3
These are anthologies of stories by James White, but they are not
part of the Sector General series. They contain some Sector General
stories, as I recall, but I think these are repeated in the other
books.
