689.0. "Mind Partner" by COGMK::MEAGHER (Poor but Honest) Wed Sep 07 1988 19:16

Many years ago, I had a copy of an anthology of SF novellettes which was
titled something like "Mind Partner and (8?) other (Short Novels?) from
Galaxy", edited by H. L. Gold. This collection contained, to my mind, some
of the most imaginative fiction I had read or have read since.

My copy has since disappeared, and the book is long out of print, but I'm
trying to refresh my mind on the story titles and authors. The best I
can come up with is

	Mind Partner Christopher Anvil
The Lady Who Sailed the Soul	Cordwainer Smith
	The Stentorii Luggage ??
	The Sly Bungerhop ??
	The Hardest Bargain ??
	The Civilization Game Clifford Simak
	Snuffles R. A. Lafferty
	??
With Redfern on Capella XII	Frederik Pohl
(I know this was the last
	 title in the anthology)

Can anyone help fill in the missing story titles/authors? Better yet, does
anyone have a copy of this book that they'd like to swap/sell/loan?

And if you liked that collection, try his others, like BODYGUARD.
I read it in High School and re-read it a few years ago, enjoying
it just as much as the first.
