| I just finished reading it. It is, in my opinion, the best of the Pern
series. Makes ya want to go back and re-read the others.

I have only had time to read the first couple of chapters
of the book. I was wondering if anyone else had read it and
what they thought. I have *loved* the entire dragon series
and can't wait to dig into this one!

I just finished reading this myself and I agree that it is a great
book. About time too, after whetting our taste-buds about thier
past in "The White Dragon". I have just one picky thing about the
technical aspects. Come on now! These people are still using
liquid/chemical/reaction drives on thier ships?
