432.0. "Too Many Cooks" by ROCK::REDFORD () Sat Jan 24 1987 19:22

I recently bought a book called "Halo" by one Paul Cook. I
remembered a flawed but interesting earlier novel called "Tintagel",
also by Paul Cook. "Tintagel"'s premise was that music had the power
to literally take you to other worlds, ones created out of your
impressions of the piece. "Halo", on the other hand, is rank space
opera about some lunar colonists in exo-skeletons battling rednecks.
Are these by the same author? Are there two
Paul Cooks, or have I completely lost my sense of prose style? The
"Halo" Cook also wrote something called "Duende Meadow", and the
"Tintagel" Cook wrote "The Alejandra Variations". Help!
