| I don't know about the LOST IN SPACE reference, but in an episode
of SPACE: 1999, The people on Moonbase Alpha were contacted by people
from Earth in the 22nd Century. Commander Koenig wanted proof of
their origin, and asked them who won the *1998* World Series, to
which they replied the Red Sox.
If they lose tonight (Heaven forbid!), will we really have to
wait another twelve years??

They mentioned the LOST IN SPACE reference on the news Monday
evening. I wouldn't be surprised if it was true (truth is always
stranger than fiction), but I have no idea which episode it was.

| Science fiction all the way.
We will wait the 12 years and will be disappointed again.
Sleepless fan that knows they could have but it away sooner,

| Science Fiction allright, the emphasis is on the word *FICTION*.
Maybe I should have watched Lost_In_Space instead?

| I'm glad I wasn't in Will Robinson's shoes.
Him: Who won the 1986 world series?
Me : I dunno, I don't follow baseball!
Him: OK then who won the 86 Super Bowl?
Me : I dunno, I don't follow football!
Him: Hmmm! Who won the 1986 Stanley Cup?
Me : I dunno I don't follow hockey!!
I watched Life Force on HBO instead. Around the time the Sox
started losing the movie came on. Maybe the alien vampires were
sucking energy from the Sox as the movie was being shown. :-)
