Does anyone know where the expression 'Gort, klatu virada nikto' comes from? I'm pretty sure I've seen it appear in the personal name string in one or more of the notes in this conference. Also, this evening I watched 'The Twilight Zone' on TV - there was this guy using the expression (the story was about some weird alien who came back as a stowaway on one of the space shuttles - among other things, it turned itself into an atom bomb). Can anyone enlighten me? <PO>

Dear me, seems like I've revealed myself as an ignoramus... Of course, I wasn't even born when 'The Day The Earth stood Still' was made, so even though I have heard of it I haven't seen it. Right now I'm on my way to the video store to pick it up... <PO> |
