In Japan from this monday, a radio drama "Star Wars - The Empire Strikes Back" has been started on FEN (Far East Network, American Froce's Radio). Does anybody know about this program? When, How long in U.S. -- Yuichi Inasawa

Both A New Hope and Empire Strikes Back have alredy played here in the US on National Public Radio. ESB was broadcast over a year ago. | |||||

There were 13 episodes in "A New Hope"; I presume that there would be a similar number for TESB. Although I recorded ANH, I didn't think it was so good that I'd deliberately go back and play it. It was interesting to listen to, though, and it was pleasing to note that they could get across a lot of the "effects" with just sound. Back to the good old days of radio drama, I suppose. Thanks. I've recorded 5 episodes on this week. So, maybe there are two more weeks. But only Luke and C3PO (R2D2 and Chewie?) are orignal cast in TESB radio drama. I saw three SW movies many times and I have all three disks of Story version. So, I feel a bit strange with actor's voice. Anyway I'm enjoying everyday and it's good material for me to study English. -- Yuichi Inasawa | |||||
