I've just read TIK-TOK by John Sladek, which must be one of the best SF-funnies

of all time. A robot that kills for artistic pleasure...shades of a short story

whose title temporarily escapes me, could it have been 'Fondly Farenheit'?

	If you liked Tik-Tok, you might also look into "Roderick" and its sequel also by Sladek, and his "Mechasm". I found the books funny, but I had a hard time keeping up with the story. Steve
