Hi, A customer of mine moved from DUNIX 3.2G to DUNIX 4.0B. He was using Performance Advisor Collector and Peformance Advisor with license and maintenance contract. When the version 3.1 will be delivered ? Since 4 months he can't run Performance products due to DUNIX V4. When CA does deliver the update for such customer ? Should my customer get new licenses ? Thanks for a quick answer. Pierre [Posted by WWW Notes gateway]

I have a customer in the same situation, and some more information. >* POLYCENTER Performance Advisor V3.1 > - Supported on: DIGITAL UNIX V3.0, 3.1, 3.2, 4.0 > - Status: Beta is complete; release slipped from March 31 to May 9 > - Next release is planned for Nov/Dec 1997; now soliciting > requirements >* POLYCENTER Data Collector V3.1 > - Supported on: DIGITAL UNIX V3.0, 3.1, 3.2, 4.0 > - Status: Beta is complete; release slipped from March 31 to May 9 > - Next release is planned for Nov/Dec 1997; now soliciting > requirements Which implies that it should be out by now. As the previous caller asked though - do CA send out updates if the customer has an update contract?? If not when can they expect digital to provide it for them? |
