254.0. "sysconfig -c psdc necessary?" by HGOSPS::MICKWIDLAM () Thu Mar 13 1997 10:12
Hi,
When I install DECps, the installation say that I have to add
sysconfig -c psdc to a startup file. Running this command, /dev/psdc
will be created. But I found that without reload the driver, DECps
still runs normal.
Is it necessary to reload the driver by sysconfig -q psdc on each
reboot? If yes, what possible problem can happen if I didn't reload the
driver?
Thanks,
Mickwid Lam.
