2230.0. "Year 2000 Compliance for products?" by SIOG::P_MCENROE () Thu Apr 10 1997 06:29

Hi,

I'm looking for some information on Year 2000
compliance for some layered products on UNIX platforms
on a client site.

I hope I have the correct conference for this.

What I would like to know is if the version mentioned
is year 2000 "compliant" and if not, what version is
(or will be).

The product has been identified as

	"POLYCENTER Netview for V4.1A"

I've looked through the Digital web site for information, but so
far I've drawn a blank for this product.

If this information has been collated some where, pointers to it would
be great.

Thanks

Paschal McEnroe

The NetView product manager (Suvankar ZEKE::Ghosh) has been working
with our technology supplier to obtain Year 2000 information for NetView.
So far I do not believe he has received a definitive answer.

    FWIW,

I've had a customer ask about this too (what version of Netview is Year
    2000 compliant?).

Suvankar Ghosh, the NetView Product Manager,
has been told by Tivoli that
TME 10 NetView 10 for Digital Unix (V4.1c) and
TME 10 NetView for Windows NT (V5.0)
are year 2000 compliant.
