    Does anyone know if anything re security/DCE will change in tme/10?
    
    I have a customer who wants to be able to give users access to only
    SOME netview functions, but was hoping to be able to that without
    having to go through the agony of DCE. 
    
    I told him I'd ask.

	The TME framework includes security services. Since TME 10 NetView will start using some framework services as early as the next version, it would not be unreasonable to expect a security alternative to DCE some day. But I wouldn't count on that being immedietly available in the next version. More details on futures need to come from product management (Suvankar Ghosh) off line. -- Erik
