Hi there,
in order to reproduce customer's problem, we're installing Netview v4.1a in our
lab. But here we have another error at the end of installation.
Does anyone have seen the following error ?
Thanks a lot and best regards,

The portmap error (below) suggests that you are running some
other software on the system which is monitoring the trap port.
Do you have other management software intstalled? You could look
in /etc/services for hints as to who uses that port on your system.

I've already checked /etc/services and port 162 is used by snmp-trap. I've
stopped snmp daemon and reinstalled netview but it is impossible because
netview needs snmp.
What should I do ? Change snmp port number ?

Thanks a lot and best regards,

Paula.
