Can anyone tell me what a bike like this is worth? Thanks in advance, Jim 1961 triumph bonn. 650, rigid frame chopper,8" over glide,blk. and chrome,coffin tank. Less than 1k on engine, punched out to 750+, all covers and oil tank chrome.

There really isn't much of a market for "Choppers" anymore (at least I don't see it in the circles I run in). Your best bet would probably be renting a table at the next British swap meet you can find and part the bike out. More than likely it's worth more as parts than as whole bike. I've seen 'standard' T120R offered for sale for 12,000FF - 15,000FF in French mags. The UK price would be approx 1,000 - 1,500 GBP A lot would depend on condition. (and how desparate the buyer is) Ian |
