646.0. "SHOW QUEUE/OWNER" by TOOK::MICHAUD (Jeff Michaud) Fri Jan 01 1988 15:08

    This may sound like a stupid question, but I haven't found
    anyone who could answer it yet.

    What options do you need to give to "SHOW QUEUE" to get it
    to display only queues which I have something in, and/or
    queues which are NOT empty.

    Maby something undocumented like "SHOW QUEUE/OWNER", or
    "SHOW QUEUE/UNEMPTY"?

    Doesn't sho que already give you just your own entries? I don't
    know about non-empty queue....

    I think Jeff want a SHOW QUEUE which will only list queue which his
    jobs in them. If a queue doesn't have one of his jobs, suppress it's
    listing.

      $ SHOW QUEUE /OUT=X.TMP [/batch or other qualifiers]
      $ SEAR X.TMP ":",-19/MATCH=AND/WIND=(4,0)

    There's nothing in SHOW QUEUE to do this, but you could hack up
    something using $GETQUI, obviously.

    1. Install VMS V5.
    2. Use the command SHOW ENTRY.

    Easy, huh? :-)
