    We are attempting to use the lgi$validate() routine to validate
    username/password combinations, but are having problems resolving
    the reference to this routine. Does anyone know where (if?) this
    can be resolved.

	Sounds like it would be in LOGINOUT (probably a local routine that is not globally available anywhere). stephen

	I checked STARLET.OLB, STARLET.MLB, and LIB.MLB and didn't find any lgi$ symbols. If it's a LOGINOUT local routine you're going to have some trouble LINKing with it ... John

	I have used lgi$ routines, but you have to get them from VMS sources. Some of the most critical are not even in the fiche, and are certainly not in any library. Dave
