Is the DE500-AA supported under Windows NT v4.0 in a AS1000A 5/400? If so, are
there any known problems with having the option behind the primary PCI bus?
I've noticed that you need to use the driver on the floppy (instead of the
NT 4.0 driver on the CD) to get the auto-negotiation to work (auto-sense works
fine with the driver of the CD). The AS1000A options page says there are
performance problems in putting the DE500-XA behind the primary PCI bus. Is
the same true for the DE500-AA? If so, how do these performance problems
manifest themselves?
