I just had the 'pleasure' (sarcasm intended) of having install
Windows NT V4.0 with an Etherworks 3 (DE-205) card in it, and
having to download the E3KITnnn.ZIP on another machine, etc,etc.
(I've recently changed groups, moved to a new building, and
inherited an Intel box on which I'm installing NT.)
(Not having these drivers bundled with NT v4.x is still a major
pain, as has been well noted in the past. This one cost me about
another 2-3 hours of needless hassle, even though I had prior
experience and knew where to chase down the driver.)
My present concern and question is:
Is anyone working the issue of trying to insure that our Etherworks
drivers get bundled with NT for V5.0 ???? (Maybe with the MIPS-support
being removed from the CDROM kits, they'll be room on the V5.0 kit
for more of our LAN drivers?)

Please do not get your hopes up for this. I'm not aware of anyone working on
trying to get the EtherWORKS 3 drivers into NT 5.0. If you'd like to make a
formal request to the Product Manager, that would be Adrienne Denault
(NETCAD::DENAULT).
