| This show was rerun in our area this weekend. I got about 20 minutes through
and switched to something else which is really unusual. Normally I really like
DS9.
As someone said earlier, it was DS9-0210. Two story lines and both were
personal interest soap with little sign of any scifi. One soap story line
mixed with a real story I don't mind, in fact one of the stronger parts of
Star Trek has always been the human factor in their stories but no SciFi at
all is too much in the other direction.
Ok, I'm curious as to what happened even though I couldn't actually sit
through the remaining 40 minutes. Briefly, What happened with Quark's wife? Did
O'Brien and Kira come to any agreement on whether she could play racket ball?
By some surprise plot twist did either story turn into a scifi tale after I
shut it off or did they stay with the suds?

| I didn't even bother to watch the re-run, but from what I remember,
Quark ended up having to fight a batleth duel with (whasername's) body
guard. The only si-fi was that they wired up the Quark somehow so that
Worf could control Quark's body to mirror Worf's moves. Predictably
the equipment broke down and Quark had some sweaty moments until it
was repaired but, he prevailed in the end, and the bodyguard was
banished to parts unknown. However he did not get to savor the "fruits
of victory" since his "damsel in distress" rode off into the next
convenient "sunset".
The show ended with Worf and Dax both in the infirmary both looking
like cats that had just escaped from a dog pound and Bashier saying,
"I'm not even going to ask".
Don't remember what happened to the "O'Brians".

| I thought Quark got to savor. He was in sick bay with a couple of
broken ribs. Didn't he get them from savoring?

| the implications were that Quark certainly did get to savor - at least
for this episode.
And the other O'brian/Kira subplot - whether she plays racqetball
didn't get resolved. What did come up was a growing attraction between
Miles and Kira (especially with him giving her backrubs/massages) which
grew strong enough for them to be very uncomfortable around each other
and Keiko. Kira decides she should go away for a while and Keiko pushes
Miles to go with her "incase something happens with the baby". Kira and
Miles decide the best is if they don't and avoid the issue until some
other "lifetime".
