| When Odo got his shape-shifting back, and turned into a bird, he shed the
clothes that he had been wearing as a solid. This makes sense, but it caused
me to think of something else. When be changed back into Odo, he "created"
clothes for himself complete with a com badge (unless I'm mistaken). How could
a com badge made from great link goo function as a real com badge?

| Re: .27
What you missed was that he cleverly palmed (well, tendrilled) the com badge
from his uniform before he flew off, and stuffed the badge inside his body.
Then, when he returned to human form, he moved the badge to the front of his
manufactured chest. Simple, really; a bit of sleight of, er, goo, that any
reasonably accomplished changeling magician learns.
