I need some info regarding experiences people have had with
types of vehicles they use for trailering. I'm looking for a
a truck to pull a standard 2-horse tag-along trailer.
Do you need 8 cylinder or is 6 okay? Is a Blazer/Explorer/Cherokee
type 4x4 any better for pulling? The dealers have mentioned a
"tow package" that is factory installed, is that worth the
extra money?
Any information would be appreciated!
Thanks,
Dawn

I know that a Dodge Ramcharger (looks like a Suburban, a bit
bigger than a Blazer) can pull about 3,000 lbs. I had one
that was used to trailer my boat. It didn't have any
special towing package, and it was alot like a car as far
as the ride, and never gave me any trouble. I think it
was an 8 cylinder.

You didn't miss it. You used the wrong keyword. DIR/KEY="trailering" (as
in the title of your note) finds it readily
