After poking around a bit and not finding quite what I was looking for... Looks like I'll be fortunate enough to have a few extra days in Munich in a few weeks and would like to visit some warmblood farms (preferred) or a local show. (btw, the free days are weekend days, a Sunday and a Saturday.) Any suggestions on where to start (or any Munich readers in here?)? Anyone heard of any one day farm tours? (English preferred since I don't speak much German.) Thanks!

Hi, sorry I can't help with events, shows etc. in Munich. However, you could ask in the Munich notes conference EICMFG::MUNICH for some information. I know there are stables in Munich, there is one in Dirnismaning (due north of Munich), and of course there is the Reitschule near the Englischer Garten (Munich's "Central Park"). There is a cafe from where you can watch the school (efficiently called "Cafe Reitschule" :-)), but beware, its clientele tends to be young/very hip!. Clarissa |
