1807.1 | Mix 'N Match? | SAC::WALTHER_E | Ellen, ELIM documentation @UCG | Thu Sep 23 1993 06:12 | 6 |
| Thanks to everyone who contacted me off-line about this. I have heard good
things about Pet Plan, and have got quotes from them which are a bit higher
than the other insurers but which seem reasonable.
I've also been quoted for a policy through "Mix 'N Match" insurers...has
anyone got any experience with them?

1807.2 | UK Insurers - L&E vs GA! | KERNEL::BRAZIERJ | | Wed Jan 26 1994 10:43 | 11 |
| Re UK Insurers - I have used General Accident now for 11 years. I have
made numerous claims on Vet cover, and EVERY time it has always been
simple, quick and no fuss. You can insure for as many or as little
items as you wish. I would suggest you visit a broker who can compare
on your behalf all the different prices and cover. Leisure and
Entertainment have all sorts of loop holes - I don't know anyone who
has made a success claim!!! - this really is cheap rubbish. I am doing
some catching up - sorry this if this is too late!
Gook luck.

1807.3 | Bankers Equine Direct? | IRNBRU::MICHELLE | Michelle Alexander, TSG, AYR, "Yes Scotland!!" | Thu Feb 16 1995 09:50 | 12 |
| Has anyone had any experience of BANKERS EQINE DIRECT?
I got quite a few quota from various insurance company's and also
was warned off Leisure and Entertainment by various companies.
There seemed to be quite a difference between different companies
BUT Bankers Equine Direct seemed to be the most flexiable policy because
you could choose exactually what cover you wanted.
Hoping I don't need to find out how good they are :-)

1807.4 | RIDER ONLY INSURANCE | GIRVAN::DJONES | | Thu Mar 16 1995 06:31 | 12 |
|
As I don't YET own a horse or pony, I'm planning to take out some
Rider Only insurance.
I had seen an advert for Equine & Livestock, but was advised
against it. It quoted 37 a year. I contacted Pet Plan and they
have quoted 40. Has anyone any comments about Rider only insurance
and indeed the Pet Plan policy, known as Rider Plan?
Regards,
Doreen
