OVERNITE STABLING REQUIRED My wife and I have purchased a mare and foal in Andover, New York. We are looking for stabling and/or rest stops along route 88 thru New York state, rte 9 thru Vermont and NH and rte 202 and I95 thru Maine. We are planning this trip the week of 9 - 15 May 93. We would like to find overnite stabling in Bangor, ME and in the vicinity of the NY and Vermont Border. This is our first attempt at this type of trip, any and all information as to where we can stable is appreciated. ps. Also require information about nearby accomadations for ourselves.

Even tho I don't live in Maine any more, I would recommend a phone call to Steve Cox in Hampden, Maine for a reference place in the Bangor area. Steve raises and trains quarter horses but has lived in the area most of his life and is a horse person through and through... I bet he can point you in the right diretion. |
